Use for caulking windows, sealing cracks, filling holes, door perimeters, walls and woodwork, siding openings and masonry cracks. Warnings: Health Precautions: As with all caulking compounds, keep container tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not take internally. Always use adequate ventilation. If you are chemically sensitive, always test for personal tolerance. Additional Info: Limitations: Do not apply to substrate in direct sun or where hot to the touch as this will cause excessively fast curing and prevent adhesion into a wet, tacky base. Sample test a small area to assure proper adhesion can be obtained. Do not contaminate. Do not use when indoor or surface temperature is below 60 degrees F. Do not freeze. Limited Warranty: safecoat products are guaranteed not to be defective when properly applied. Liability express or implied is limited to replacemnt of product or refund of purchase priceand does not includeliability for labor costs or consequential damages. Variable factorsout of manufactureer's control, such as environmental conditions, application techniques, and surface conditions are critical to resultsobtained. Users are expected to exercise reasonable care to determine suitability of the product for each application. This limited warranty may not be modified or extended by manufacturer's representatives, distributors or dealers of AFM products. Always test in small, inconspicuous areas before application to the entire surface. VOC content at 240 F: less tan 19 grams/ liter (Including water), ASTM D2369, EPA Mathod 24 Packaging: White Plastic Does Not Contain: Solvents, Formaldehyde or Toxic Preservatives. Suggested Use: Surface Preparation and Application: Prior to application, clean out all areas to receive caulking down to sound substrate. Remove all dirt, dust, oils, grease, wax, unsound existing caulk, dried out fillers, powdery residue and other foreign materials. Blow out or wipe area to reveal a clean base. Surface must be completely dry and stable prior to application. Application over wet contact faces may result in lack of bond. Avoid damaged, contaminated substrates including rotted wood. Old wood surfaces may require priming, but permit no release compounds, waxed or mildewed surfaces. Previously painted areas that are loose must be scraped clean and metal surfaces should be rust free and de-oiled. Always have adequate ventilation. Apply a smooth, even bead using a standard caulking gun (note occasional small pockets of air in tube are normal and may briefly interrupt flow). Do not allow product to cure on adjacent surfaces (remove immediately by wiping). After thorough drying out and total cure, caulked surface may be lightly sanded to smoothness desired and painted. Keep tube closed when not in use. Coverage: 1/4" x 1/4" (6.4mm x 6.4mm) width depth cross section can be filled at a rate of approximately 25 lineal feet. Drying/Curing Time: Under normal conditions, 24 hours for full cure. Normal conditions include a clean, dry surface, access to fresh air flow, a dust free environment, moderate humidity, and temperatures above 55 degrees F. Clean-Up: Clean tools and equipment while still wet with SafeChoice Super Clean and warm water. |
