Austin Air's 360-degree intake system draws air into all sides of the HealthMate Jr., passing it through a 4-stage filter. Every minute, over 125 cubic feet of air passes through 6.5 pounds of activated carbon and over 30 square feet of True Medical Grade HEPA. The result is more clean air delivered faster and more efficiently than any other air cleaner in the market today.

Cleaning Area:
The Austin HealthMate Jr. will filter up to 700 square feet efficiently (one room with 8 foot ceilings), 200 cfm (cubic feet per minute) on high setting.
Filter Media:
The Austin HealthMate Plus is a 4 stage filtration system. Stage 1 is a large particle pre-filter that removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander). Stage 2 is a medium particle pre-filter that removes small to medium size particles (e.g. molds, spores and pollen). Stage 3 is 6.5 pounds of Activated Coconut Shell Carbon and Zeolite blend to remove chemicals, gases and odors. Stage 4 is 30 feet of True Medical Grade HEPA to remove harmful micro-organisms (e.g. bacteria and viruses).
Filter Change:
Austin Air filters are designed to last for an amazing 5-years, under normal residential use. If you feel that the filter needs to be changed within the 5 years Austin Air offers a 5-year pro-rated filter warranty, by far the most comprehensive in the industry. No more costly filter replacements every few months or even years.
Warranty:
Your Austin Air cleaner is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 5-years from the date of purchase; provided your Austin air cleaner was operated under normal residential use and that you have completed and returned your warranty registration to Austin Air Systems.
Return Policy:
In the event the unit isn’t working out for you, you may return it within 2 weeks of purchase. You must contact our Customer Service Department for a return authorization number. Complete the return form that was sent with your invoice. Be sure to include any materials you received, such as the instruction booklet, as well as any parts that may have come with the unit. All units must be put in a separate box so that there are no shipping labels or writing on the original packaging. We suggest you insure the package and all return shipping charges are your responsibility. Upon its return, the unit will be inspected, and if it is in resellable condition we will credit you back less a 10% restocking fee. In the event the unit is damaged or defective, please save all packing material and contact our Customer Service Department immediately for further instructions.
