Dr. Crook was a popular guest on local, regional, national and international television and radio programs, including Oprah Winfrey, Sally Jessy Raphael, Regis Philbin, The 700 Club, Good Morning Australia, TV Ontario and the BBC. He addressed professional and lay groups in 39 states, all Canadian provinces, Australia, England, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand and Venezuela. And he has served as a visiting professor at Ohio State University, and the Universities of California (San Francisco) and Saskatchewan. Dr. Crook received his medical education and training at the University of Virginia, the Pennsylvania Hospital, Vanderbilt and Johns Hopkins. He was a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Allergy and Immunology and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. He was a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, Alpha Omega Alpha and other medical organizations. Dr. Crook lived in Jackson, Tennessee, with his wife, Betsy, where he practiced medicine for almost 40 years. They had three daughters and four grandchildren.
